Erick Strickland wants to be assistant

Watching KETV and they are interviewing him. It said he has applied for a position, but correct me if i'm wrong but does he have a BA degree? I don't beleive he can be offerred the position because of this.

Yes, he earned his degree. He fulfilled the maximum eligibility of his scholarship while at UNL. Schick & Nick also interviewed him last week about the job interview. I'd like to see him on staff in some capacity. It certainly couldn't hurt.

Sounds like some other coaches are in the mix now. I wonder if that means he's going to be a G.A.?

It sucks but Miles has to do what he believes is best for getting top athletes in the program. Hopefully Strickland will be able to land some sort of role in the athletic department though. You can never have enough of his type of passion.
