ESPN - Bill Connelly: What will it take for Texas and Nebraska football to really be back?

I'm still more worried about the LBs than the DL. The DL will be pretty green, but I mostly like the guys we have coming up. The LBs, on the other hand, still need a ton of help, and I don't know if we've recruited enough there to really shore things up.
I think Daniels and Robinson (only a freshman) have promise. Everyone else is average at this point - can change of course.

LBs I feel better about than last year, but again a very young group. Greene, Henrich, Reimer, Butler, Nelson and Gunnerson can take us very far in years to come. I feel really good about those guys. Tannor and Domann need to step up big this season.

I've been wondering if we'll burn Gunnerson's redshirt this year. Frost obviously wants to preserve as many as he can, but we need help at LB badly enough that I could see him playing this year.

I'm a big fan of Gunnerson's but I'm interested to see what happens here.  The HOL guys seemed to be pretty convinced for awhile that he was going to bulk up into a DE - and his frame would seem to allow that.  But then later on they went back to saying he'd be an OLB.

To be honest, looking down the road at the Inside Linebackers we're after now I'm hoping we land a couple of those guys then a couple guys who they are going to start out at ILB get moved outside and Gunnerson could be an explosive DE.  Must my $0.02.

@Mavric Yeah, you end up with a lot of hybrid guys in a 3-4 like this, since your OLBs are you main pass rushers. You get OLBs who might be DEs in a 4-3, and DEs who look more like 4-3 DTs.
