I think at end of year Carter will bump Herian out. Westerkamp can bump Bell or Swift out as well.

What kind of offense would that team run? Option? West Coast? Spread? Pro Style?

Zac Taylor, Joe Ganz?

 
I think that it is telling that (according to this list) 3 of our 5 best OL since 2000 were done playing for NU after the year 2000.

I think it would be pretty split, wouldn't it? Since Frank played offense and was the OC his 4 years would be offense. Then 4 more offensive years with BC. Then 7 defensive years with Bo with one offensive year of Riley.

Osborne recruits: 6 from 1.5 classes (half of 97 class and 98)
Solich recruit: 7 from 6 classes
Callahan recruit: 6.5 from 4 classes
Pelini recruit: 5.5 from ~5 classes**

I was just interested in knowing which players were recruited by which coaches. Not trying to start another d!ck measuring contest. I had to look it up. I considered Solich's Feb. 1998 class to be Osborne's, the 2004 class to be Solich's, the 2008 class to be Callahan's, and the class signed in Feb 2015 to be Pelini's. Ricky Henry was the "0.5" because he was part of two recruiting classes.

**edit - Pelini had 7 complete recruiting classes, but some of them are still playing...

Your'e probably correct that you should lower the Pelini years to 4 since his last 3 are still in the program (maybe 5). However, great research! Shouldn't Eric Crouch be "red"?

 
Dennard wasn't a Callahan recruit was he?

Swift committed to Solich, iirc. So the dividing of transition classes is problematic. Why did you assign '98 to Osborne but '04 to solich, for example?

I agree that listing 7 classes for pelini is misleading, though, because a lot of those players are still in the program.

Crouch signed in the '97 class and redshirted, so he was an Osborne recruit.

Swift was a Solich recruit. He signed with Nebraska after his firing.

From my recollection, Osborne was still quite involved in that '98 recruiting class. In '04, I believe there was some recruit turnover, and Solich certainly didn't stay involved in the recruiting after his firing.
