Once again, just more meaningless junk to talk about until September 5th.

Who'd have guessed that Pat Forde, an MU grad, would conveniently leave off both KU and NU from his ballot. Not surprising! (What is surprising is that he didn't rank MU either). Reese Davis had no Big 12 North representative at all.

Time for both NU and KU to prove these two jerks are mistaken. :box

Pat Forde is one of the biggest tools employed by ESPN. And that's saying something.

I continue to be amazed that Texas Tech gets so little respect. People are either oblivious to the history of this offense or just plain belligerent not to rank them.

Most of these preseason rankings are made based on what teams lost rather than what they actually have. Tech is being ranked on what they lost, but don't forget - this was a 10-2 team last year. They won't be pushovers this year, not in any way.

TTech lost a good amount of guys and play a rough sched(five other teams listed in that top25 plus toughies in Baylor and Houston). If one is predicting finish rather than just looking at how good a team is I can see leaving them out of the top25.

I completely agree. They strike a scary resemblence to what Oklahoma State was last year. Very far from a push over.
