ESPN recruiting classes

We took a look at the first ESPNU 150 last week as it relates to the Big 12, and Texas had more of the nation's top recruits, with eight, than any team in college football.

So it's no surprise the Longhorns sit atop ESPNU's first class ranking for 2011.

But first, a disclaimer from the recruiting folks:

This is way early and things are going to change. Players will change their minds and more than half of the players in the ESPNU 150 are still undecided. Remember, this is just a starting point. We simply looked at which programs have the best classes based on commitments they have right now.

Oklahoma ranked No. 4 nationally in the rankings, and has the second-most ESPNU 150 commits with six. Here are the rest of the teams from the Big 12 in the top 25.

No. 12: Nebraska

No. 14: Texas Tech

No. 17: Oklahoma State

Alright 12 is an excellent start. If we get some players and our recruits we have now play very well in their senior seasons then we could possibly have a top 8 class.
