I saw Corso talking about it earlier - the game is on his "upset watch." He said "improved Nebraska D" and that "Chase Daniel will be the difference." His overall take was "closer than people think," but felt Mizzou would win.

said it before and i will say it again

NU plays mistake free football, and they win the game.

10 1/2 points plus home field and it is really a 17 pt spread.

with the way LB coach Ekler was talking at the Big Red Breakfast, I think that there will be alot of Blitzing, so NU needs to make sure to play their assignments, and not be out of position. if they dont, then there will be big plays and that will be painful

not saying we can't, but we have made a ton of mistakes every game so far.....would take an absolute turnaround of a sizable proportion.

I agree.

I think if we spy Daniels and try to hit him EVERY play, we may get into his head.

Thought about this early in the week. You think they are devising something with Asante or Glenn for this role? Somebody with size on Daniel and speed? It could work. I mean think about it. The spread is about getting people the ball in space. If you spy Daniel on every play, not break coverage and just send one guy on him all night, this very well could work.

I don't know, it has its problems as well. I hope we see the genious that Pelini has been in the past. Don't listen to all the idiots, there is talent here. We are still Nebraska, we still have talent on the first string. If you don't believe me, ask Frank Beamer. He said we do.
