Saw that today. Doesn't really surprise me. The only people who really think we can do well this season is Peter Futiak of cfn.com and Phil Steele of his magazine. That USC game is the one where the national media will see us back for the first time since 01. GBR!

 
It's right around 22-23 where most polls have us. I like being around there (to start). Look at Auburn a few yeard ago. Like others have said before, most people outside the program know NOTHING about us.

They did earn a lot of respect throughout the season, but didn't get into the national title. I don't want to go undefeated and then not end up in the national title.

like one website said (cfn.com or foxsports.com) if we beat usc, texas and then go undefeated "nebraska will be in the NC game NO MATTER how many other teams go undefeated"

I agree gamecocks, I know it is an over used cliche, but we need to take it game by game. dedhoarse If we look past certain games towards USC and/or Texas, we may end up with a heartbreaker. :hellloooo Any team can upset another on any given day. Just go out and execute and things will fall in place. :box
