I thought big johns closed a few years ago

Their website talks about times to play free pool at their Lincoln location....? I haven't been there in years, though.

Maybe someone saved them... I havent been out that way either

I can guarnatee that Big John's has been closed for a couple of years now... I work at Sun Valley right behind where the building was located, and it has been vacant for a couple of years now... over the summer they finally took the Big John's Billiards sign down... Don't go looking for Big John's... You won't find it open.. Sorry....

As far as food/bar... Go to the Watering Hole... There is one right down town on like....14th and O? somewhere right around there.. Get their grilled wings, as canttakeitanymore said, best wings i've ever had. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about them. As long as you are expecting the more kind of bar scene, you won't be disappointed.. I know a few people that have gone there expecting to be waited on hand and feet and been mad because of that type of service, but the food is amazing.

Is that Grand Manse tailgate open to the public? I'd like to see that building.

It sure is open to the public, 21 and up. Their drinks are bigger, and cheaper than Embassy. And no, I don't work for them either, I just like it because it's new this year. Really good Bloody Mary's, and ZEN has a Bloody Mary bar set up in there place so you can put everything you like in it and keep what you don't like out. Zen's BM's are really good. Red too. GBR!
