NBC announced Olympic gold medalist and former Nebraska wrestler Rulon Gardner will be among the contestants for season 11 of NBC's reality show "The Biggest Loser," which premieres at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4.

One day, the 6-foot-1 Gardner saw himself on TV and couldn't believe what he saw. He weighed 474 pounds.

"I kept denying it until I couldn't deny it anymore," he said in the blog.

He also said his athletic background will make him an immediate contender for the $250,000 prize, but it also puts a target on his back. LINK

I can't wait to see this! Rulon is bigger than life. I've never watched Biggest Loser before. But I'll watch it now.

 
that guy has been thru some crap. They dont make em much tougher than him. If he doesnt win ill be shocked.

 
Rulon is probably sandbagging right now. Eating a dozen pizzas a day to beef up for the weigh in. My money is on Rulon to win this thing.

I guess Rulon was on Biggest Loser a couple days ago. But I forgot about it until it was past. Anybody here watch it?
