Daytona Beach, FL -- The person who left a hand grenade behind at a Daytona Beach liquor store may have been captured by surveillance cameras.
Police will review the video for any possible suspects.
A maintenance worker discovered the grenade Sunday night behind Nick's Package Store on Cypress Street in Daytona Beach.
When police arrived, they called in the Volusia County bomb squad, and evacuated nearby homes.
“Turned out to be, talking to Volusia County bomb squad, we don't think it was live. But we took all precautions around the area to make sure it was safe,” said Lt. Charles Fordham of the Daytona Beach Police Department.
The grenade was found stuck in the wall.
