Extra year for Martinez?

Yeah, who wants to return a 4year starter that set about 30 school records. Give me either a guy who has every bit the same turnover problems but not the big play potential, or a freshman who has zero experience
74Hunter - so you're saying Tommy Armstrong's 99 yard TD pass to Quincy Enunwa wasn't a big play? Let's give credit where credit is due here.

Sad part is that he could've easily qualified if they had pulled him once he got injured. Throwing him out there on a bad wheel did nothing.

The staff did it for his whole career, no surprise. Lack of forward thinking, has been a strong point on this beginner staff. Of all the things that may be wrong with Bo and his staff, the lack of planning and roster management has been his biggest shortfall I think. That and possibly a medical staff that listens more to the players than what their experience/education tells them. We have rushed many kids back to the field, and maybe able to play but not in the best interest of the player.

Not intended to be totally negative on this, just the things that happen with a first time coach, placed in a very stressful position at Nebraska. As shown on this board, winning is all that is important to most.
