If I wanted to get my five siblings and me tickets to a Husker game, how would I ever find six seats together?

I checked out the link to Sooner tickets (thanks for that awesome schedule)... 5 was the most I saw there (and are those per ticket prices or for the set of tickets?)

You could try eBay. Sometimes people auction tickets in sets of two-four in two or three consecutive rows. I was looking earlier and saw two listings for Texas T, both were section 20, seats 15 & 16. One was for row 52 and the other row 54.

Might be an option, but might end up being a big headache.

I have two tickets in the North endzone for the Tech game. It is going to be tough to find 6 in a row. To answer your question about the prices, the ticket brokers sell the tickets usually above face valve, so the price they list is per ticket, not for the group. I am selling mine for $55 each (face value). Let me know if you want them.
