Fan/player treatment at PSU

So, to anyone who went to the game, how were you treated? Last time we were there it was after the scandal and things were pretty solemn.

Also, I heard the fans threw eggs at our players. WTH? Anyone else hear this or know anything about it?

 
If true, screw them! We very well could've cancelled that game a few years ago when the crap hit the fan and we didn't. We went in there with total class and met them at the middle of the field cause it was the right thing to do. Blah.......

 
Santos and Mitchell tweeted that a guy threw eggs at them. Mitchell also said some guy threw a glove at him. Sounds like the Huskers were greeted by an interesting mix of people.

 
Who brings eggs to a football game? Someone who intends to throw them onto the field. I can see a student being the culprit here.

If it was flipped around and this was a Nebraska incident in Lincoln, we would more than likely find that it was a lone student, rather than a dedicated fanbase.

Point I'm making is that the actions of one individual shouldn't change our opinions of an entire fanbase.

Im on my way back to omaha from the game. I had nothing but a great experience. Before the game we walked around campus and got a lot of good lucks and welcomes. Good conversations with several knowledgeable fans before during and after the game. We were sitting behind the PSU bench about 30 rows up. Only part i didn't like was the constant roaring sound effect over the pa. Way worse then ksu.

 
I also was treated very well yesterday and had nothing bad at all. In 2002 well that is another story but I wanna say I had a great time.

Not like this then, right? Cause this was PSU as well. And from Pennsylvania wiki, they have an abundance of eggs there, maybe they were being nice and saying YOOOOOUUUU TAKE THESE!

I'm glad we're Nebraska...

...as for those fans people in the video, we should load them up and parachute them into a Taliban stronghold, where there hostility and anger could be put to some positive use.
