VCU has been a quality team for the past few years. Wouldn't surprise me that a lot of fair weather fans switched to them.

I don't know any VCU fans. I know a lot of UVa and VaTech fans. VT is further from me than VCU. Someone from BleacherReport must've made that map.

Im guessing its done off social media posts by people within the state (and probably states that in the article I was too lazy to read) so some random chirps thrown out about VCU helped??
