Probably my favourite cover of all time..



Because of Willie, bands such as Zeppelin, The Doors, the Stones, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Cream, Stephen Wolf, Allman Bros., Hendrix, Clapton, Motorhead, Otis Rush, Eric Burdon, Van Morrison, Foghat, Meat Puppets, Canned Heat, Captain Beefheart, Steve Miller, Tom Petty...And so many others have been credited...and sometimes not credited for covering his tunes...

But after ''discovering'' him at Pickles records in Lincoln in the mid '80's, I found that I (mostly) prefered his versions over the ones I grew up listening to..
