Favorite Husker running back?

Let's discuss these guys...some great memories! The choices go deep into Husker history so share your thoughts and memories....

I went with Mike Rozier, but as a young 9 or 10 year old, I.M. Hipp provided some exciting moments.

I chose Ahman just because growing up outside Nebraska I just never saw many games. No internet either. The only thing wrong with him is he fumbled to much.

But depending on how well Cory Ross does this year, I may choose him.

Hell, I'm going with Ross. He's had to go through all these "down" years. The guy is positive, strong, got heart, loves to run, loves to hit..

I had to go with Ahman because when I was younger, he was best there was. I didn't get to see a lot of those guys play a lot, but we have had some outstanding backs over the years

I almost wish I could pick LP, but just can't. I just can't judge him on what he did on the field.

I picked Calvin because I loved the match up with him and Benning. Benning played the first and third and Jones played the second and fourth. THey complimented each other very well.

Yeah, they were a lot of fun to watch too. I picked Ahman though. Speed and power rolled into one, a caliber of back that Nebraska has not seen since.

Funny thing Ahman Green was in Omaha over the weekend having a fund raiser at my high school ( Millard West High School) just last sat.

I picked Roger Craig. Hard charging with those high knee lifts and a great team player. Had a great pro career and community minded outside of football. A stellar role model.

I picked Ahman but in reality there is a lot of good memories in that list. I am confident we will see some more great performances in the years to come.

I picked Ahman because of not only what he did at Nebraska but what he is also doing in the NFL. Probably, the best athlete on the board was Phillips. However, he's a meathead and has ruined all of his potential.

I have to ask though, why didn't you put Johnny Rogers up on the board? For a lot of the older NU fans, he was the greatest. He may have been the most electrifying player ever to wear the red and white.

I loved watching Ahman Green, but when I was young, the first running back I remember was high-knees Roger Craig, so I voted for him. Where was Tom Rathman on that list? I know he was a FB, but he was a stud.
