I still can't believe that Brook is gone. He had so much talent and heart to lead any NFL team to the Super Bowl. I've read his mothers book One Final Pass about 20+ times and it still doesn't get old.
I'm guessing that won't happen simply because he didn't accomplish as much as those guys on the field.
I think the unique situation of being the only player to have a statue at the stadium will be Brook's only legacy. And that's one heck of a legacy, if you think about it.
He does deserve to up in North Stadium not only for this football success, but as a person. He is what being a Husker is all about. I know he has the statue with him and Coach Osborne and the award, but he really deserves to be up with the other Husker greats.
