NOTES

If we can solidify a strong Saturday starter we'll be in a really good position. I'm hopeful Waldron will pick up where he was last year and get it going. Here's to keeping the strong play going!!

Not sure, but seems like Saturdays have been when we decide to not score many runs. I could be wrong, but just seems like its been that way so Burkamper may not be getting much run support. Anybody have the stats. I could be way off.

Burkamper starts: He has given up 14 runs (12 earned), while we scored 15 in 30 innings. Averaging 0.5 runs given up to us scoring 0.5 per inning

vs Utah - ND, gave up 3 runs, scored 1 in 3.1 innings

vs Ok State - L, gave up 1 run, scored 0 in 3

Vs Western Carolina - L, gave up 3 runs (2 earned), scored 2 in 4

Vs College of Charleston - W, gave up 1 run, scored 5 in 6.2

Vs Cal Poly - ND, gave up 2 runs (1 earned), scored 2 in 5

At Indiana - W, gave up 1 run, scored 2 in 5

Vs Maryland - ND, gave up 3 runs, scored 3 in 3

Hohensee Starts: Has given up 18 runs (10 earned), while we scored 31 runs in 41.2 innings. Averaging 0.4 runs given up to us scoring 0.7 runs an inning.

Vs Utah - ND, gave up 3 runs (1 earned), scored 4 in 4.1 innings

Vs Arkansas - L, gave up 6 runs (3 earned), scored 2 in 2.1 innings

Vs Western Carolina - L, gave up 3 runs (0 earned), scored 2 runs in 6 innings

Vs College of Charleston - W, gave up 1 run, scored 10 in 6.2 innings

Vs Cal Poly - W, gave up 1 run, scored 3 in 6.2 innings

Iowa comes in at #88 in RPI, sporting a 18-11 record (WarrenNolan.com shows only counts games against Division 1 opponents) and a strength of schedule of 161.

Nebraska comes in at #37 and a strength of schedule of 49.

Baserunning blunder prevents Mojo from going to third with one out, Schreiber strikes out and Miller grounds out. Nebraska leaves two on. Heading to the 2nd, 1-0 Iowa

Anything to left field has a chance to be gone. A two-run homerun for Iowa in the top of the 3rd, heading to the bottom of the 3rd, 3-1 Iowa.

Nebraska scores 2 due to bases loaded walks. Bases still loaded, one out, Altavilla is up, 2-0 count, new pitcher for Iowa.

3-3 tie
