Fill in the Blank

see you in the funny papers!
Thanks for avoiding my question.
Here you go:

since 1883

And its not just one or two entities that picked LSU as NC in 1958, it's 15:

1958

Iowa 8–1–1 Forest Evashevski FWAA

LSU 11–0 Paul Dietzel AP, B(QPRS), BR, BS, CFRA, DeS, DuS, FN, HAF, L, NCF, PS, SR, UPI, WS

See that one entry after iowa? there is your claim. See all the entries after LSU? thats consensus.

again, see you in funny papers, dear hickeyes.
So we went from delegitimizing the different selectors to completely legitimizing all of them? Note that some of the selectors weren't human polls, and some of them appeared one year, only to magically disappear soon thereafter.

Here's a good example for you: 1991

Miami is recognized as the "consensus" national champion, but Washington had more selectors on their side.

The whole process has been ridiculously inconsistent. See also, 1950, 1951, 1953, 1978... The list goes on.

I mean really, just stop it. You've got a nice little program over there in iowa somewhere. Just be happy and stop putting on airs, you look a fool.
I'm not an Iowa fan. You look like the fool when you keep editing your earlier posts... Everyone can see what you really said in my relpy, you know...
