Looks like Young officially beat out Newby for one OLB spot. Kind of surprised Cockrell is getting the first crack at the second safety job. And that the TEs appear interchangeable. Have they been using Carter much as a receiving option in practice?

As far as the TE go one rumor I've heard is that Cethan is one of the guys suspended for the first game so that could explain that part of it. Was surprised to see Cockrell getting the nod at the other safety spot. Other than that nothing too surprising to me. Nice to see Young getting a chance. I think he has a big year.

Doesn't look like the depth chart takes into account the upcoming suspensions as there are no "starters" left off.

I'd thought I read somewhere that Carter's blocking was holding him back, thus the demotion.

Surprised to see J Rose as a co-1.

I don't really know everybody's name anymore, but wasn't Sterup a starter? How long has it been expected for a redshirt freshman to win this job over him?

I noticed this also. Nick Gates might be the guy to watch on the o line. It will be interesting to see if he keeps the #1 job.

I know it's a weird way to look at this list, but the first thing that occurred to me is that we're pretty well positioned for 2016.

Yeah, I don't believe this shows the suspensions besides Carter from what the rumors were. People kept bringing up M Rose and possibly J Rose, but they both show as starting.

Wow, some new names here:

TE

David Sutton -OR-

Trey Foster -OR-

Cethan Carter -OR-

Sam Cotton

So, do the three ORs mean that it's a four-way tie for starting tight end?
