So I was about 3 miles into a 6 mile run today when I started getting a pretty good pain in my right foot. I figured I'd quit being a wimp and try to push myself through it and only made it another 1/2 mile before I had to stop from the pain. It's on the bottom of my foot and starts from the front of my heel to the ball of my foot. On a scale from 1 to 10 it's a 6 or so when I try to walk on it. It feels like I strained a tendon or something and 3 advil barely took the edge off. Any advice? I was thinking it may be plantar faciitis and wonder what I could do at home or should I just go to a podiatrist? Thanks ahead of time for the suggestions.
