Interesting article about how much "game play" actually goes on in an NFL game.

I love watching college football (not so much pro)...but it is laughable when you think how much "standing around time" there is during a game. Add the commercials and it gets even more ridiculous.

Wow. That little playing time?

Maybe it just seems like the full 60 minutes to me when I'm at the game.

Down time is spent talking to those around us about the team's play.

Or, maybe going for another beer and shelled peanuts.

Still, it's a nice way to spend my Sundays.

With so little actual "playing time" it is amazing how many players head to the sideline "winded" during a game.
