TO taking the AD position is not a good sign. I'm not saying its a sure thing by any means, but I cant see how this would not help Gills chances.

I really don't think that TO as AD guarantees anyone being HC. IMHO all it does is that a fair evaluation of what is going on will happen, and if changes are required, then the best person for the job will be found (not just a name or former NFL HC).

thats pretty much what I just said. however if you dont think being a former player, coach and close friend to TO doesnt help, your lost. lets say it ends up a situation like last time and there are no clear cut choices and we are left with people who are not very experienced, or have no experience as a HC. Gill connection to TO would be huge.
