Had a big game today in the quarterfinals of the Olympic Trials.

Per @HuskerHoops twitter feed:

Ade Dagunduro with 7 points in 10 minutes off the bench, but Nigeria trails Greece 42-30 at the break
Ade Dagunduro hits a pair of free throws with 0:03 left to lift Nigeria to 80-79 win over Greece (7 points in final 1:10)

Ade (like Jeter) was proof that Doc could occasionally ferret out a diamond in the rough..........just not enough of them.........

Nigeria won their bronze medal game today and qualified for the Olympics. Congrats to Ade and Nigeria.

If I remember correctly, Ade was a senior on the Husker team that had no starter over 6'5" in the Big 12. Ade played post I believe and while they struggled against some teams they beat Texas and nearly beat Kansas

 
That is so freaking cool. Ade was a man among boys and played twice his size. Hope Nigeria gets a medal.

It would be cool, but pretty shocking if they got a medal. Them even making the Olympics is a Cinderella story in itself.
