Is the Fort Scott Community College football program on probation? It depends on who you ask. But at this moment, the majority answer seems to be "no," without specifically saying "no."

FSCC Athletic Director J.D. Ettore and President Clayton Tatro both avoided using the word "probation" when they returned phone calls to the Tribune Tuesday afternoon.

"The NJCAA reached out to us requesting information for our football program," Ettore said. "We're in the process of responding back to them. That's exactly where we are."

Word began filtering out Monday afternoon that FSCC was placed on probation by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). No one the Tribune was able to reach would comment on any specifics of probation.

The most that i've been told is messing w/ players who had signed LOI's to other schools. Although most of the staff responsible is gone now, including Indiana's new recruiting coordinator, who i believe was the FSCC head coach.
