Had 134 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns .... in the QUARTER.

First drive of the quarter: One pass to Morgan for 8 yards followed by five rushes by Newby for 13 yards and a TD.

Second drive: Four Newby runs for 21 yards, a TA run for 2 yards, two Newby runs for 5 yards, a Newby reception for 21 yards, two more Newby runs for 3 yards then Foster catches a 6 yard touchdown.

Third drive: Two Newby runs for 70 yards and a touchdown.

Fourth drive: One Newby run for 1 yard then Victory Formation.

17 touches for Newby over 19 plays. Great effort. Great Finish.

I've been a fan of him ever since he won back-to-back heisman's in my dynasty mode in ncaa '14.

He, and the whole team worked their bums off in the final Q.

Did you notice there wasn't any hesitation from the time he took a handoff? Ran hard and fast as soon as the ball was snapped, play after play.

Newby finally got his confidence up and got in the zone.

This man had better have gotten a game ball today. He absolutely earned it. Good to finally see him have a breakout game. He's earned his moment in the spotlight.

With the way the game was going, we needed someone to show up big and Terrell did today.

I've been hard on him for a few years now, he showed me up today. Everyone else goes down and all the pressures on his shoulders ...... and this is what he produces. Bravo good sir! Well played and I am proud of you. Keep up the good work newby.

I would give it to the offensive line and the guys blocking on the perimeter. We had some absolutely fantastic blocking all year from the receivers.

Newby made the most of the holes, but somebody had to make those holes.

But let's not take away from Newby here either. He was playing at another level.
He got worked that second half, that's for sure. He also showed that he could switch from a plow horse to a thoroughbred in about three steps.

Also, I didn't pick up on this live but rewatching the game I noticed that part of the reason we were able to run the ball so well in the forth quarter was because we were working to get to the outside more rather than just running straight ahead.

According to Huskers.com, of Newby's fourth quarter carries, seven of them were "up middle" for 28 yards and 8 of the carries were to the outside for 84 yards. He also caught a swing pass for 21 yards so when we got him to the outside he gained 105 yards on 9 touches. Obviously one 63 yards gain boosts the average but Newby has the speed and quickness to get big chunks like that. He just hasn't had many chances to do it.
