Frank Solich

How do you evaluate Mike Riley? He's brought people to the perception that Bill Callahan wasn't "that bad" of a coach........

 
Frank Solich as head coach, Callahan as offensive coordinator, Pelini as defensive coordinator.......and Bruce Read as special teams coordinator. Dream Team

Oregon lost this week-I love the thought of Scott being at NU someday but not yet because if we did hire him w/out any head coaching experience, you would hear something like this after his first loss : We should never have hired a coach with no head coaching experience-didn't the Bo hire teach us anything."

Marshall just beat Southern Miss 31-10 and they also beat Purdue earlier this season. Frank beat Marshall 21-10 and his only blemish this season is a 3 point loss to Minnesota.

I would take Frank back in a heartbeat.

 
No, we don't bring Solich back, no former head coach is going to come back here and we aren't going to recapture what we once had in the 90's through doing so or most likely ever. Threads like these make my head hurt, why would we ever want to do such a thing?
