Freeman to leave early

The writing was on the wall when Prince got canned.

I wouldnt waist a 4 th round pick on him.

 
You kind of could telll he was going. I don't know why people are saying he is going so high. I really don't think that he is that great.

 
because he is stacked and has all these great accessories.

but so does JaMarcus Russell n Vince Young... Neither has panned out great so far.

 
Maybe he didn't want another set of BOOOOO's in Lincoln next year. I'll miss his ability to make the Blackshirts look like all conference during their worst years.

Who knows, though - with proper coaching he might actually amount to something more than a clipboard holder. (Hard to say that with a straight face, but could be true.)

 
He has a good body for the NFL, but as someone mentioned Russell and Young have not panned out to well. Also, Culpepper sucks big time as well. It will be interesting to see if a team wants to take a chance with this kid early in the draft. I am sure the damn Vikings will see he is still available in the first or second round and draft him....just my luck!

I will miss watching the Huskers kick his a$$......

 
Hes a classic case of a common mistake NFL teams make each year. They look at how tall he is, how strong his arm is, and ignore his decision making skills. A QB needs those intangibles to be good. Freeman is going to be a bust.

 
While I don't see Freeman being a sucess in the NFL, this is a smart move for him. Snyder has made it clear that his offense won't be predicated on a classic drop-back passer - Freeman needs to get while the getting is good.

 
A KSatan slurping radio talking head was wondering why he wouldn't want to stay and worship at the feet of the best college football coach EVER.

 
I was so hoping he was going to return for this year. I'm sure the DL and LB corps from opposing teams will miss him most, but just for posterity, here's some of his favorite hits.
