Fresno State Game Date and TV

I agree with you Accountability in terms of keeping Friday nights open for high school football games. I just hate the lame arguments people give about "how something will effect recruiting".

High school football players (outside Nebraska) aren't going to be sitting around and wondering what time/channel/announcer the Nebraska football game is going to be on.

 
Thursday would be ok. Then on Friday then drive to Vegas for some nfl action. Btw 2 Marriott I checked are already sold out for that weekend. Get in and out of Fresno as soon as I can.

 
The Mountain West conference Thursday released a TV schedule with 11 Friday night games on it, including a game between Northern Illinois and UNLV on Friday, Sept. 12.That means it’s likely that Nebraska’s game at Fresno State will stay on Saturday, Sept. 13 as originally scheduled.

In an interview with the World-Herald this week, Fresno State coach Tim DeRuyter said he had no say in when the Fresno State-Nebraska game would be played, but if he did, he’d hold it on Saturday, during the hottest part of the day. DeRuyter said area temperatures routinely reach 100 degrees in September, and Bulldog players embrace the heat because they’ve practiced in it for a month, but it’s hard on opponents.
