Receivers coach Keith Williams was the final assistant hired to Mike Riley's staff, added two weeks ago. Now we know his salary.


Williams will make $275,000 in 2015 and $300,000 in 2016. He has signed a two-year deal through January 2017.

The Huskers are set to spend $3.025 million on the salaries of their nine assistant coaches in 2015. NU's assistants last year combined to earn a little less than $2.7 million (which ranked 31st nationally among schools that reported data to USA Today). Riley will make $2.7 million in 2015.

I understand it's nice to know how much these assistants are paid, but does it really matter? Do people care that much what all the coaches are being paid?

I always thought it was lame when people would complain about Beck's salary as the OC the past few years.

Would it help if they gave out the salary of the Alabama players? (2.83M, down from last season's 3.49M)
