Can you honestly tell me that he is "kissing a$$ so we wont let him have it"? Give me a break! Do you really think he cares if Nebraska fans like or dont like him? The guy has a job to do, he doesn't give one flying crap if we boo him or whatever. Im sure it probably would make him laugh to himself if we were to do that. He actually is a very intelligent guy and knows a ton about football, more so than any other guy at ESPN.

---Is impressed that Nebraska is not afraid to play teams like USC

---Said he is impressed with Callahan's recruiting and the confidence he has brought back to Nebraska football

---Loves the ABC Prime Saturday Night game....thinks it is good for college football

I honestly don't know why everyone is so against this guy. He's a great announcer and is very knowledgeable. Yes I know he doesn't think the '95 HUskers are the best ....so what????? Get over it

Exactly! Is there any other reason??? If any of you pays attention, he regularly goes on radio with the local guys and talks football and never has anything bad to say about Nebraska. Is he a Nebraska fan? Hell no, the only national media guy I know that is is Alberts, who is now at CSTV. But Herbstreit is intelligent and knows football. Yeah, I thought he sounded pathetic with his whole '95 vs '71 Nebraska rant, and didn't like his picks on everything football for the year. So what.

Take solace in knowing that if Nebraska beats USC, Herbstreit will give Nebraska props. Otherwise, what would you really expect?

exactly, as most of you know (at least if you have read ttheKid1*18 post) you know that I think husker fans should show some class and not be :asshat.
