Can this kids make an honest run at starting this year or is it just too difficult as a freshman

On the o-line it's tough but I think a kid like Farmer would be able to break through. How big has Gates gotten? Is he still sitting at 272?

He might get time as the backup, but I think it'll take an injury to see a true frosh in the starting rotation. My money is on a redshirt year - for all true frosh OL every year.

agree....will be tough for him to see the field, unless some guys go down.
