Gayle Sayers vs. Jim Brown

Ooooooooooh - another tough call. However, Sayers - to me - was more of a speed back. Brown was more complete - speed, strength, the whole package. He carried Syracuse.

I think they are both great running backs but there is something I like about how Jim Brown would just run you over.
