Getting Husker games out of market

My parents are moving to South Carolina, but still want to catch as many Husker games as possible (the ones on FSN Midwest, etc). DirecTV told us that you can get FSN Midwest in South Carolina if you pay extra. Does anyone have any experience with FSN Midwest outside of the midwest?

For $5 month thru Dish Network, I get the Multi Sports Package which is all of the Fox Sports / Comcast regional networks, including Fox Midwest and Southwest, which are your best bets for getting those Big 12 games, in HD. Between that and Pay Per View like the first games other than VTech are on, and an occasional ESPN game plan day if Nebraska is on a regional ABC game that doesn't make it to the southeast, you should be able to see every Husker game that is broadcast.

I'd guess DirecTv has the same kind of package for the Fox Sports regional networks, but the only one I can confirm is Dish.

:yeah

Also, have them be on the lookout for any Husker watch sites that might be close.

Don't get the regular FSN channels confused with FSN PPV. At least three games this season will be on FSN PPV, but having the normal FSN channel(s) won't help you there. You'll have to pay $30 to get each game on FSN PPV. Here's what channels last years games were on:

FSN PPV: 5 games (pretty ridiculous)

ESPN: 2 games

ABC: 2 games

Versus: 2 games

FSN: 1 game

CBS: 1 game
