GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra

The trailer doesn't look that bad i guess.. And they got some good actors/actresses in there too. Kinda reminds me of transformers and the end with the dodging of the missiles.

it's gi joe based out of belgium.

WTH?

and how many of you want to bet the uber-villain will be an american?

Well...for one thing GI Joe was an All-American cartoon. It'd be ironic if they switched the GI's to be from a foreign country and the bad guy is an American. Maybe ironic isn't the right choice of words...how about grossly politically correct?

I think it will be a cheesy movie, but am hoping its not. The Director did the Mummy movies and Van Helsing so at least its not a guy like the director from Wolverine who knows nothing about action movies. The actors in the movie are split between good and bad. So basically it has potential to be good, but I wouldnt bet on it

btw the new Transformers:Revenge of The Faller trailer is awesome... I really cant wait for it

Now that's a valid point.

OK I'm too the point where I've given up hope with Hollywood in making Comic book and classic cartoon shows into movies. I just saw Wolverine this past Saturday night and left the theater really bummed out. It was a good movie if you haven't really read the comics but if you've read the comics, the movie didn't even follow anything from the comics.

The first Transformers was alright but nothing special and the second one looks better than the first one except for the 100 ft robot which I think they should've left out.

G.I. Joe looks better than the new Transformers movie in my opinion but like many of you have said G.I. Joe is an American made cartoon and I really didn't see anything about USA in there which is really odd.

But my next movie that I'm really can't wait to see is the new Terminator movie. That movie looks like its a nonstop action flick. I think that looks way better than the Wolverine, Transformers, and G.I. Joe movies but thats just me. Coming into the summer flicks I was really looking forward to Wolverine out of all of them because I'm a Wolverine fan but that movie left me out kindof pissed.
