Anyone think that a combination of Pelini and Gill would work? I heard a few people talking about a combo of the 2 with Pelini handling the D and Gill with the Offense. If you think about it, it would make perfect sense although its unlikely. We really need a D guru as the offense seems to be clicking nicely and Shawn Watson seems to be one of the few assistants that will be retained. So, I think Pelini would be the natural choice as the D has embarassed Husker Nation to the point where it made history in the record books.
Whoever we get... we need a D that will demolish the opponent, win or lose. Jason Peters said it best "even if we lost, the other team knew they played Nebraska for weeks after the game from the beating they took".
