What an effort in the 2nd half..especially by Tommy Armstrong, I have always criticized him.he earned my respect.Westerkemp is a baller and will be playing on sundays

I still think you guys can compete for the big ten championship. Just need to work on that passing defense (keep #23 on the bench)

As for Miami. Canes fans still not buying into Al Golden. In order for us to jump back on the golden bandwagon is to beat Florida State in 3 weeks.

Yes I know you guys are annoyed by me saying BRAD KAAYA, but we feel this kid can lead us back to the promise land. Dudes a baller and will be the #1 pick in the 2017 draft.

Good luck Husker fans! I will paying attention to you guys on Saturdays.

 
Tommy Armstrong, what can you say? I would respect the kid if he actually won the game but he didn't. In typical fashion he gave the game away trying to force things and be the big hero.

It was 1st down Tommy and you were scrambling, just run the ball and pick up a few yards. You are no John Elway and you never will be.

Nebraska had a great comback only to be squandered by Armstrong. It's all about wins, nobody will remember "Almost winning"

Nebraska had a great comeback completely on the back of Armstrong. Yes, that interception was a dumb, grave mistake, but we wouldn't have been in the position for him to make that at all without him playing lights out with very little supporting help to score 23 points in 8 minutes.

Withholding respect from a kid for playing his absolute a$$ off and doing everything within his power to keep fighting for his team is despicable behavior. Nobody feels worse about that interception than Tommy does. By all means, pile it on by criticizing like a child and believing that your respect actually has any value at all to Tommy or anyone else.

Pretty fair assessment.

And, I have to say I now understand the Golden firestorm. He was one of our best weapons.

Hey, just kidding man. Hell of a game yesterday. Unfortunate the way it ended for us, but it's a miracle we were in position for the W in the first place, so I can't complain. What's more, it was a good, clean game yesterday. Had a couple guys tossed on your end for the head to head stuff, but no fights like last year. Glad to see that.

I have no problem losing to you guys. You've got athletic talent for days. Your passing game would've toasted us even worse if not for a few slight overthrows by Kaaya. Yearby is really quick and was picking up yards like nobody's business.

Really hope if things do go downhill for you guys, Golden does get let go. That was awful game management to let us back in it, he ended up drawing that 15 yard sideline penalty, and... the dress shirt and tie thing is just weird.

Good luck the rest of the season, and please DO knock off the Noles!

 
Gotta give props to Canes fans. It was a great experience and met some good people and enjoyed the conversations with their fans. There was more smack talk from a 7 year old kid and freshman girls than anything haha. Wish our Huskers could have played a complete game, but overall, I really enjoyed my time down here and hope to make a return trip.

Why was Golden freaking out over the running into the punter rule? They threw the flag and then he gets themselves penalized, that seemed real dumb. Can understand why Canes fans aren't happy with him.

Thanks. Your quarterback seems like a class young man. (He sure picked apart our defense during the first 3 quarters!) Our team has a lot of work to do but they have heart and it showed last night. Best wishes for the rest of your season.

GG Miami. I think you guys should maybe lighten up a little bit on Golden. The Canes looked very impressive today and came out in midseason form. You guys have a lot of talent on that team. Good luck against Florida State; they look eminently beatable.

 
Belated thanks and good game to you guys. Kaaya is an excellent qb, but I think the Canes will mainly need better coaching to get back to the promised land. Good luck!

Though, to be honest, Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas State, and Colorado fans make Wisky fans look like angels. All twenty of 'em.

And glad to see there's a good 'Canes fan. I remember back in the early 00s when Dave Zdyrko was the most public internet face of the 'Canes...and pretty much embodied everything people hated about Miami.

Best of luck the rest of the way, including with that whole 'Firing Al Golden' thing. Your fans are right--he needs to go.
