I'm not sure if i'm liking this move yet...

At least Captain Caveman won't be in left field this year

 
I thought about this more today, and a couple of things came to mind...

He sure strikes out a lot, and where would they bat him in the lineup?

Depends on whether or not Damon resigns or not. If Damon resigns, I would prefer him at 9 as a double lead off guy. If not I am sure they will try him in the 2 Hold to start. I am not totally sold on this one. He strikes out a ton mainly because he isn't good against Lefty Pitching. One thing about Yankee Left Handed Bats is that they are good against Left Handed Pitching, it is a big part of why trying to pitch around them is so tough. With Damon and/or Matsui gone we lose some of that and Curtis doesn't bring that knack with him.
