Hey, HuskerNation, just a quick (belated) congrats to y'all for being great hosts for Aggies who visited your place a week ago. We really enjoyed Lincoln. Especially, I want to give huge respect to Matt Darling, VP of Paramount Parking, who went out of his way to invite several of us to his tailgate and provided us the opportunity to visit your museum of national champion and Heisman trophies. Husker fans continue to be a class act -- we look forward to y'all's next visit to College Station so that we can return the favor.

 
Glad you had a great time! Hope you come back the next time the Aggies are in Lincoln.

Get bent...we're all too busy being angry to care what anyone else thinks! :) OK, seriously Aggie86, thanks, and glad you had a good time here. Good luck the rest of the way, hope you always feel welcome in Nebraska, lots of great people here. And for the record, College Station is also a top-notch college football location for visiting fans, keep it up!

and this is why I love being a Husker fan....just wish other schools fans could see that it is a lot more fun being good sports in good times AND bad. This is what it is all about.... :) :woo

 
HuskerTrucker, you've got it right, and you represent the overwhelming majority of HuskerNation that we interacted with on our visit to Lincoln. This IS, in fact, what it's all about. I've visited some of the great temples of college football across the nation, and have come away from some of those visits (most notably, Colorado) with disdain for the idiots who apparently get their self-worth from belittling the visitors. But others, where the fans realize that conducting yourself with dignity and respecting others leads to even greater satisfaction than insulting others (e.g., Nebraska, Clemson), are the experiences that lead me to keep LOVING college football !
