GREEN???

In the Omaha World Herald they were talking about how Busch expects Wilson, Green, Asante, and Thenarse to know both the safety spots, so it appears the possibility for Asante and Thenarse to be on the field at the same time is still there. Thenarse was a freakin animal on Saturday and if you have the chance to read the OWH and see what Asante said about one hit in particular that will speak for itself.

I thought Wilson and Thensrse played great. As someone said

early Green well didnt see anything different from him. Asanta

was all over the feild, the only down side of him wanting to hit

is he could have picked off a pass but instead went for the hit.

:bonez

I like what Green does but hes just out there doing his job. He does nothing wrong but hes not a playmaker. Thenarse and Asante bring something extra. they both love to hit and play with major intensity.

somtimes being solid is not so bad. flashy is fun to watch, but solid play is consistent. keep a guy from burning you or making 1 or 2 big hits and then being out of position and getting burned for a couple TD's? we won't know what we have until we start the season against our opponents.

Callahan said tonight that Wilson played so much in the Spring Game because he rarely ever made mental mistakes in practice.
