Gregory #4 on Mel's board

Mel kiper an idiot with waaaay to much hair spray.

Mel been smoking the herbs if he thinks mariota goes 1. Mariota will drop between 6-10th. Winston going 1 to Tampa, baring a trade.

Mariotta will go 1, IMO. I love Gregory, but I think he drops a little in the draft. I bet he gets picked #10-15 when all is said and done.

I think Winston is the more NFL ready QB but his maturity level is certainly a factor. What happens when he has money, freedom and not a lot to do until pre-season practice? If I was paying him a boatload of money I' be worried. Won't have that with Mariota. As for Gregory, if he can stay healthy, he will make some team one hell of a line backer.

Tampa will not draft a system to qb over a qb from a pro style offense. That is located 200 miles from Tampa. Tampa needs to get there act together ASAP, they don't have the time to dilly dally around with a qb that will need a year or two be nfl ready.

Mariota is going #1. He's not a "system QB". Plus Tampa Bay just hired a new OC who is familiar with Oregon's system and Mariota. I can't remember his name right now.

I don't think this is a prediction of where they'll be drafted as much as it's his ranking of draft prospects.

I'm a little torn on Gregory. He has a lot of potential, but he also seemed to regress this year. Maybe it was the injuries, and once healthy he'll be a beast again. But I couldn't help thinking that he was spending too much time reading his own press clippings. And that makes me wonder whether if given a few million dollars as a high draft pick, he'll put in the time and effort to be great.

I think the combine and his weight there will matter a lot.
I agree to an extent. He doesn't need to put on a ton of weight to be a 3-4 OLB in the NFL. His speed, athleticism, and wingspan will what make scouts like Randy at the next level.

The NFL money is nice for rookies, but a lot different than what guys like Suh and Sam Bradford got just a few years ago. If Gregory wants to make the big bucks, it will have to be in his 2nd contract, and he will have to put the effort in to get that. I wish the guy nothing but luck going forward.

#4? He is a little undersized and now has injuries problems to deal with. I would say 10-15 if I called shots in the NFL. But I don't, so condemn me now.
