Nebraska Defensive End Randy Gregory has been named the WK 4 Lott IMPACT Player of the Week.

The 6-6, 240-pound junior from Fishers, Indiana had two sacks (25 yards lost), forced a fumble, two quarterback hurries and seven total tackles in the Cornhuskers’ 41-31 win over Miami.

The Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation will make a donation of $1,000 to the general scholarship fund at Nebraska to recognize Gregory’s performance.

Gregory was the National Sophomore Defensive Player of the Year last season. He volunteers for Husker Heroes and visits the Belmont and Calvert community centers.

How great would it be to receive an endowed scholarship like this (I know that it is in the general fund, but go with it)? When they present it, they're like, "A little bit about the man behind this scholarship. He terrorized an opposing backfield and withstood multiple cheap shots and brawls so that you could have $1,000".

He looked the part on Saturday. I was impressed with his play and keeping his cool, but I would like to see him celebrate more with his teammates and less talking with the other team.

The thing that impressed me most about Gregory Saturday night. With all his complainging about cut blocking and realizing it's a legal play, Ive been wishin he would just kinda can it and adjsut his play. His body language Saturday night was kinda frustrating to me. But when it was time for the fourth quarter and it was hammer time, on the very first play of the fourth, a guy tried to cut him-AGAIN, and he jumped over him and made a huge sack. It was all him and it all but shut down a very critical drive that had made it to first and goal at the 6. THAT was a game changing play that Randy MADE. That's encouraging. It showed his growth and ability to adjust in the midst of a game, not just week to week.

Valentine chewed his a$$ on the sideline before that play.

Well good. Someone needed to. Time to man up. Randy's great, and he has to know it. But that doesnt mean it's gonna be handed to him. I saw a little tenacity in that 4th quarter from that I thinks been missing. We'll see where it goes from here.

DB mentioned how horrible his body language has been all year, said that a couple of scouts said the same thing.

He had better cure himself of the Clowneyitis, fast.

Taking games off like Clowney shouldnt be compared to a guy complaining how he's being cut blocked. Ive never questioned Randy's effort. The comparison is ridiculous imo.

Fair enough, he may be playing hard, but he needs to quit whining about legal cut blocks.
It's making him look bad and reflects poorly on the team.

And? Are you saying that our alleged stud superstar whining about a legal block doesn't look bad?

Relax. I was just joking.

But to answer your question. No.
