Scouting Indiana

Indiana enters Wednesday’s game with a 20-6 mark and tied for second in the Big Ten with a 10-3 record. The Hoosiers are in the midst of playing three ranked teams in a four-game stretch following last week’s split with Iowa and Michigan State.

Indiana features one of the nation’s top offenses, as the Hoosiers lead the Big Ten in scoring offense (83.5 ppg) and field goal percentage (.503), while ranking second in 3-pointers per game (10.0) and 3-point percentage (.417). The Hoosiers are 3-3 since a 12-game winning streak that began following a loss at Duke in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, but have been tough at home, going 14-0 this season.

Senior point guard Yogi Ferrell is one of the Big Ten’s top performers, as he averages 16.8 points and 5.8 assists per game to rank in the top six in both categories. He is one of three Indiana players averaging double figures following the season-ending injury to James Blackmon Jr. in December.

Troy Williams averages 15.8 points and a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game, while freshman Thomas Bryant averages 11.9 points on 70 percent shooting and 5.7 caroms per game.

So what was the "technical" foul at the end of the first half about?

It looks like Miles just got really frustrated with his player because of the charge, slapped the floor, and the official was way too quick on his whistle thinking that Miles was trying to show HIM up.

Also. This sucks. Did they take MJ's secret stuff at halftime?

The team looked young in the second half, allowing a big Indiana run. Indiana is really good so on to the next one. This team is probably NIT bound but they need a minimum of three wins over the course of the regular season.
