Guys that have 2 favorite teams in CFB

add me to the list too, wichita st may not have a football team but they are still better than ku.
I have a good friend that lives in Wichita and he was telling me that a rumor is floating around that WSU might start up their football program again.
the new president was looking into it. the reports he has gotten back should be known to the public within the next couple weeks. it may end up being only fcs but it's still college football. one of the reasons it would only be fcs is because no conference "better" than the valley wants them because they dont have football. the fate of football at wsu might lie in the hands of the P5 and what they do with realignment.

In my experience, these asshats generally have a rotation of two different teams: The local team everyone likes (GBR!) and another team, regardless of location, that happens to be hot at any given time.

They're usually more vocal about the latter.

Had a classmate in 5th grade (1993) who wore Miami gear all the time. Had a classmate in 9th grade (1996) who wore Texas gear all the time. At least they weren't the same person.

When you call these guys out they always have the same excuse...
"I've always liked them!"

"I just like (insert best players name)!"

"I like the way they play!"

"At least they win!"

Sometimes I can understand a guy having two teams. A buddy of mine--big sports fan--graduated from JMU. (That's James Madison University for the 99.9% who don't know. lol) Sure he cheers for JMU, but how much fun is that? He's a big Maryland fan also, and goes to Terps games every so often.

Yeah, like I said above, that's really the only exception that I can get behind.

What about "rooting" for you spouse's/significant other's team?
See that's where you draw a line.

Its, I'm a Nebraska fan. I cheer for my wives team when the game has no implications on Nebraska so I can still get laid. Boom.

(In my situation though, my wife is a Huskers fan, so it's good as gravy)
