The Jets already have interviewed offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, assistant head coach Bill Callahan and New York Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnulo. The Star-Ledger of Newark, N.J., reported on its website Sunday that the team was not overly impressed with Spagnuolo, who is a hot commodity this offseason. It was surprised by Spagnuolo's lack of preparation, the paper reported, citing an unnamed person "with knowledge of the club's thinking." The paper also said that Schottenheimer is the early favorite for the job.

Callahan was able to guide the Raiders to the Super Bowl. Yes, they were a disaster the next season, but that's the Raiders for you. BC didn't work out with Nebraska but maybe he'd be fine with the Jets. They could do worse IMHO.

Doesn't make much difference to me, I have very little interest in the NFL anymore.
