So who is firing up the grill at 7AM for the first game?

I have a wedding AND a family reunion to go to, and I'll be missing the game. :angry:

The wedding would be OK, because it's a "Husker" wedding and they've arranged it so everyone can go to the game after the nuptials, but this dadgum reunion has been scheduled the Saturday of the first game for three years straight. We told them after the first reunion not to do it again, but they did it again. Since it was W. Kentucky, we decided to go see family, but we told them we wouldn't be back again if they scheduled it on a Husker game day again.

Lo and behold, they do it again, BUT since we just lost my mom last Spring and this is her family, we've decided to go to the reunion one more time.

But I swear by all things that are Red and flash The Bones, if they schedule this reunion on a game day again, I'm not going. Ever.

I got really excited when I saw this thread thinking that maybe somebody wanted to throw a Huskerboard tailgate. *sigh*

But, I will be stuffing my face and stumbling around Gold's parking lot. Most likely in the morning.

C'mon man, we ca't even agree on a bar to meet up at in the offseason what makes you think a tailgate will come about.
