just wanted to let everyone know that i have begun my journey home from Iraq. I should be back in Germany in about a week, and then back in God's Country right before Christmas.

My plan was to take the family to whatever Bowl Game the Huskers went to this year, but I decided to take my wife and 6 year old son to Disney World. After I have been away for so long I think my son would enjoy spending a week with Mickey and Minnie more.

I was hoping to see a NU/VT rematch in the Orange Bowl but the losses to TT and ISU took care of that.

Next stop Kuwait

That's awesome rob! What memories you'll have with your family at Disney World! You certainly deserve to have some relaxation. Thank you for all you do! Happy Holidays!!

You know, you could have the best of both worlds and go to California for Disney Land (which in my opinion is better, but I'm from Anaheim so I'm biased) and head to San Diego for the Holiday Bowl (assuming everything works out as planned).

Just an quick update.

I have finally left 1 sh**ty country (Iraq) for another sh**ty country (Kuwait).

unless a bad sand storm moves in should be out of here in the next day or so, then a couple of German beer.

My fellow Soldiers and I thank you all for the support that you show us.
