Hey Notre Dame!!

It's strange but I have been watching some of their games this year. I wonder if Trevor Robinson wishes he's went to NU instead? But whoever inherits that job will have some talent to work with providing they can keep them.

I bet Clausen leaves for the NFL. I see no reason why he would stick around when the coach that recruited him probably won't be there...and if Clausen leaves, you gotta think Armando Allen will be taking off as well.

I watched that stupid College Gameday Final crap last night on ESPN and that was Mark May's argument against Holtz. He says Weiss will be fired which will make Clauson and Allen wanting to leave for the NFL early. Holtz just spouted his pro-ND drivel "Ask any coach in America where they want to coach and they'll say ND" Blah blah blah....

If Wies wants to actually hold true, he should just resign. he was the one saying 6-5 was not good enough for ND. And look where they are now. ND will have no option but to fire him. Worse winning percentage than Willingham or Davie. And Stanford could roll em next week.

Jimmy Clausen for Heisman!!!!....oh wait, is everyone around the country finally off that bandwagon (besides Holtz)? I never really saw why he was so hyped. ND has had many great recruits. In other news, how much weight has Wies put on since taking the job?! He is aging quickly.

Maybe 20-30 years ago. Get real we dont sit here and say ya Nebraska is the place to be if your a coach. They will not get Urban Meyer! Maybe Brian Kelly from Cinci or patterson from TCU. But they will probably screw it up and pick someone from the nfl with no college experience.

I'd bet they'd try at Chris Peterson at Boise State too.

What I think is funny is Notre Dame has had five coaches in the 18 years since they started their exclusivity contract with NBC in 1991, with five of them being the last five of Lou Holtz's time there and another coach who quit after five days. This includes a 4-10 bowl record.

Comparing the previous 20 years of 1971-1991, four coaches, three national titles, a bowl record of 9-4.
