HOWELL, Mich.— A varsity high school hockey coach and two assistants have been fired after the district was told players walked around a bar during a recent trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula while wearing women's undergarments.

Howell Public Schools said in a statement this week that it determined that Randy Montrose and the two assistants were "present and involved" when "hazing" occurred during the school-sponsored trip to Marquette.

I dunno. Sure, it was bad judgement. But hazing? Really? The hockey team put on a skit at an annual event. And some of the players dressed up in women's undergarments. Doesn't sound like that big of a deal to me. At least not enough to fire the coach.
