HOLD UP........

This game can go so many ways, it is ours to lose. If we play inspired ball and do what we are capable of we win. If we start out sluggish and turn the ball over, we lose.

Illinois is a good team...But IMHO, they were fortunate to win due to their D being in the right place at the right time. A fumble return for a td when the Illini were in the red zone and a late interception sealed the win.
Sounds like Nebraska against Ball State AND ISU.

I was at ISU game, and it was a miserable contest against two sub-par teams. If ISU hadn't faltered in the Red Zone, turned the ball over and stunk on special teams, we lose that game.

IMHO, our only hope for wins the rest of the way is to get into shootouts and hope that our conditioning holds up and the other QB makes more mistakes than Keller.

Keller is at his best no-huddle; we ought to make these basketball games. At least it would be entertaining.

Our defense is miserable -- and I don't think it's for lack of athletes. In fact, I question the whole coaching staff's ability to manage and motivate young people and help them grow up (which is a big part of college coaching). I think we are getting good athletes in the door, but aren't keeping some and aren't helping others come anywhere near their potential.

Understand: I LOVE Nebraska. Born there, went to school there, have lived and died with the Huskers since the '60s, when I was first old enough to understand what was going on over the radio. I fear that we will be lucky to make a bowl game this year. While I fear that, I HOPE we pick up some wins by hook or crook.

At a minimum, Cosgrove MUST go at the end of the season. Beyond that, Callahan still must show he can do more than recruit. He must foster a system where kids from a variety of backgrounds mature, thrive and play up to their potential. Haven't seen that.

are you drinking heavily before the game again Armi?? when the hell did Ball State and Nevada become BCS teams? even Iowa Sate for that matter?? and Chase will need to be contained, he can and will run all over us, if given the chance. our O line? the reason the running game sucks is they can't run block, all we have now is finesse pass blockers.

you can be excited about our chances, but at least get it right!

Nevada last year won thier conference and lets face it, Ball St is good period. You don't just put up 40 points on the road, even if the opposing defense is that bad.

Our Defense did a good job at stopping the run against Iowa St, that's a good start. MU can't stop a thing. Lucky, Glenn, and Castile will be run all over the Tiger Defense. Keller and Co. will have a great day with at least 3 TD's.

If the Defense can stop the run, the game is ours. Daniels will throw too many times and get two interceptions in the process.
:rollin :rollin :thumbs
I know...it'll be pretty exciting for you to see your Tigers win the Big 12 North, won't it?

The only thing that Missery has going for them is a win at Illinois. Mississippi is terrible, and their two home wins vs. nobody have just been ok.

That said, NU will have to put up alot of points, because Missery will. Defense won't be perfect, no one expects them to be, but they will need a few turnovers to keep NU involved.
